FOURQUEST Entertainment Announces Final Season at 

Theatre-By-The-Sea

FourQuest Entertainment, Inc. owner and operator of Theatre-By-The-Sea, RI has announced that following the end of the 2003 Summer Season, it will not longer produce shows at the 70 year old Rhode Island landmark.

FourQuest partners Laura Harris and Renny Serre will continue to own the theatre property and manage their other interests, which include a new children's book publishing company.  They will spend the coming months evaluating proposals for the future use of the Theatre/Restaurant/Inn complex.  Their intent is to pass the management of Theatre-By-The Sea to a group or entity that will continue to present live entertainment at Matunuck.

Fourquest  re-opened Theatre-By-The-Sea in May 1989 after a major renovation and construction effort.  Since then, the company's mission has been to renew and revitalize Theatre-By-The-Sea while producing affordable quality entertainment and ensuring the viability of the facility into the 21st century.  Laura and Renny, along with co-producer Marcy Simpson and the year-round staff, feel they have accomplished these goals and look forward to their final season with a mixture of pride and nostalgia.
